Implementation of an Enrolment Scheme at Roslyn School
To avoid overcrowding, or the likelihood of overcrowding, the board of Roslyn School has implemented an enrolment scheme that has been developed by the Secretary for Education. Under this scheme, students will be entitled to enrol if they live within the home zone. The enrolment scheme, which includes a precise description of the home zone, may be viewed at the school office
and on the school website.
The enrolment of out-of-zone students is governed by the provisions of the Education and Training Act 2020.
Enrolment at Roslyn School for 2026
The Roslyn School Board has determined that for out-of-zone students wishing to enrol and begin at Roslyn School during Term 1 2026 (04/02/2026 – 02/04/2026) there are likely to be up to 5 places at Year 3, and 3 places at Year 5. The exact number of places will depend on the number of applications received from students who live within the school’s home zone. There are currently no other out-of-
zone places at other year levels.
Applications for 2026 will close on Friday 12 December 2025. If the number of out-of-zone applications exceeds the number of places available students will be selected by ballot to be held on Monday 15 December 2025. Parents will be advised of the result of their application by the end of Wednesday 17 December 2025.
Out-of-zone places for Term 2, 3, and 4 2026 will be determined by the Roslyn School Board and will be advertised midway through each preceding term.
