Student led Conferences- Term 3 2018

We would like 100% turn out from our families, so please ensure you book early to secure a time...

Wednesday 1st August - 3.30pm - 6.30pm and Thursday 2nd August - 3.30pm - 6.30pm

We are holding Student Led Conferences over two nights.  This is a chance for you to come along and hear your child share their goals and learning for the term. It is also a valuable time for the student, parent and teacher to plan together how these goals will be achieved. Don’t miss this valuable opportunity to discuss & share in your child’s learning. A code has been distributed in the newsletter, allowing you to book online. Each conference is a 15 minute session. If you are unable to access the internet please contact either your child’s teacher or the school office to make the booking for you.  Your child's education is extremely important and it is up to us all to be an active participant in it.  We need our parents/families involved.  We look forward to seeing you all at conferences later next term.

Bookings are now open and available for parents or caregivers to book a time to meet with your child and their teacher for our Student Led Conferences.  Students are crucial to the success of these conferences and will be leading our discussions, so yes they are expected to attend as well.

If you do not have internet access please contact the school office or your child's teacher to make a booking for you.

SCHOOL & COMMUNITY NOTICE:  Confirmed ERO Report (see PDF file below)

The attached report will also be available soon online through www.ero.govt.nz or can be selected using our link on the school website via 'About Us' - ERO Reports.

We are really pleased with all the positive comments from our recent ERO report that the review team has made.  They have captured many of the amazing things we are doing to support learning and our students.

Their recommendations at the end of the report are also in line with our current strategic plan and thinking.  We already have plans in place to address them and are currently working on them.

Thank you to our fantastic staff, students, whānau and community for your ongoing support.  Enjoy reading the report.
