Roslyn School Supporters Club

We are always looking for more volunteers to support our school...
If this sounds like you please come and join our RSSC

The Roslyn School Supporters Club is a volunteer group of parents who work with the school to fundraise for projects that will add value to our childrens' learning (e.g. Outside Native Bush & Rongoa Learning Area, playground equipment, extra resources).  Everyone is welcome to join RSSC and come along to meetings.  If you are a parent of the school, grandparent, aunt and uncle or even a neighbour, the more volunteers the more we can do.

Meetings are run by our Deputy Principal and the Supporters Club Secretary who is currently Vanessa Penn (School Office Assistant) and works closely with the school and Principal.  Meetings are held in the staffroom on the first Thursday of each month and are usually from 2pm - 3pm making it convenient for our families to pick up their children at 3pm.

The group support the school through community fundraising activities and from 2020 we hope to also organise some community events that have little or no fundraising component but bring parents, staff, whānau, trustees together for some light hearted enjoyable activities.
2019 Fundraising Ventures:
  • Pie Fundraiser (Rosebowl Bakery, Feilding) (Term 2-3)
  • Variety Lunches - Each fortnight, during the term, the supporters club organise lunches that can be ordered
  • Hot Cross Buns (Term 2)
